Get up to speed in Spanish

to be able to study in a Spanish university

To study in Spain, you need to speak Spanish Do not forget that!

A good command of Spanish is essential for communicating with your future patients during your compulsory internships, otherwise you risk putting them at risk.

And this is especially true if you’re studying health sciences ( physiotherapy, dentistry, medicine, veterinary medicine…) in Spain.

As of 2016/2017 most universities either required a Spanish test that showed skills at least at B1 level (B2 for some), or set up interviews and admission exams (in the sciences or psycho-technical tests) in the Spanish language that excluded all students who didn’t have a sufficient command of the language and therefore, most of the time, couldn’t answer the questions correctly.

From 2017/2018 onwards, no serious university will dispense with this requirement, as experience has shown them that students with a low level of Spanish also fail to follow courses properly.
